My work on the pottery wheel, which began in 2016, kickstarted my artistic endeavors. It eventually led me to handbuilt ceramics, my primary focus, and then to the creation of abstract paintings, many of which are influenced by circular movement — much like a pottery wheel. This is one of those paintings. I used acrylic paint on a gallery wrapped canvas to create "Kinetic II," which gets its name from the title of a Radiohead song. It measures 10 inches by 10 inches and its outside borders are blue.
